Draftelio

Privacy Notice

Last updated: October 23, 2026

This notice explains what happens to information when you use Draftelio and the quote builder. There are no accounts, so we don't collect names, emails or passwords to let you in.

Your quote drafts

Everything you type into the quote builder — your company details, logo, client details, items and prices — is saved in your browser's local storage on your device. It is not sent to us while you edit. It stays until you click Clear draft or clear your browser data. Anyone with access to this browser profile can see it, so use Clear draft on shared computers.

Items you save for reuse ("Saved items") are stored the same way, in your browser only.

Creating a PDF

When you click Download PDF, the content of your quote is sent over an encrypted connection to our server to generate the file. The server:

  • uses the data only to check it and create your PDF;
  • does not save the quote or the PDF after sending the file back;
  • does not write the content of your quote to its logs.

The preview is created in your browser and sends nothing to us.

Technical logs

Like most websites, our web server records basic technical data for each request — IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser type and the response status. We use it to keep the service running and to prevent abuse, such as limiting how many PDFs can be created in a short time.

Analytics

This site currently does not use any analytics service and loads no third-party tracking scripts.

Cookies

Draftelio itself does not use cookies. Local storage, described above, is used only to keep your draft and saved items on your device.

Your choices

  • Clear your draft at any time with Clear draft in the quote builder.
  • Delete saved items one by one, or clear this site's data in your browser settings.
  • Use a private window if you don't want anything kept after you close it.

Changes

If the way we handle data changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
